Choosing a wedding car can be a bit overwhelming and with sooo many companies to choose from, how do you know which car is right for you?
Where to start?

Luckily most wedding transport can be broken down into  easy categories, each has its benefits, let me take you through the main categories...

  • Vintage - the 'traditional' mode of transport for brides & grooms. As some of these are now heading towards 100 years companies may limit the number of weddings they do or miles they cover. Usually smaller in interior size.
  • Classic - newer than the vintage cars but not 'new', these are the cars you might have seen growing up and have fond memories of! Usually cheaper than vintage cars and have larger interiors, they may have some mod cons such as seatbelts etc
  • Modern - these are modern day cars hired out for weddings, these would probably include seatbelts, aircon etc
  • Luxury Cars - High end brands normally more expensive than just a modern car, higher finish such as leather seats.
  • Partybus / Limosine- Usually seating larger numbers of passengers, and perfect for hen nights / stag dos!
  • Alternative - horse & carriage, tuc-tuc, hot air balloons anthing one-off and different, but expect to pay a premium for their uniqueness.
Next decide how much you want it to stand out,  Weird question, yes? But many  brides can be al ittle nervous before their wedding and  driving to the ceremony in something incredibly flashy can make them feel like a thousand eyes are on them and add to anxietybefore they even get there. Yes you want to feel special, but you need to feel comfortable too. Decide what level you are comfortable with...

  • A normal car - no worries about standing out, but will it feel special enough?

  • A luxury version car - if you've always fancied a Jaguar or Mercedes but never had the funds to buy onethis could be a good choice.

  • An understated classic - this car will stand out from all the modern cars on the road and feel special but it won't scream 'look at me'.

  • A stand out classic or vintage car - these cars will get heads turning but you still have the 'safety barrier' of bring in a car

  • Something totally different - go for an unusual mode of transport and it will guarantee all eyes will be on you!!
